Healthy Smiles Provided to Texans During Hard Times

United Concordia Dental hosted a day of free dental care, including screenings, restorations and sealants, for Arlington-area children and teens in need at the Mission Arlington/Mission Metroplex on Saturday, August 15, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Additionally, Davis Vision and local Eyemasters stores provided vision screenings and vouchers for a pair of free prescription eyeglasses, if needed. Healthy snacks were provided and players from the Texas Rangers and team mascot were on hand. Additionally, teens who visited the dentists received education on proper dental techniques and oral health from a hygienist.

United Concordia Dental network dentists and their staffs volunteered their time to bring this community service to area families. More than 30 patients were served at a value of $8,407.
