More than 70 Children Receive Free Dental Screenings

United Concordia Dental provided more than $6,500 in free dental screenings Friday, June 19, at the Columbus Civic Center, 400 Fourth Street, Columbus, Ga., to more than 70 children who are members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Chattahoochee Valley. Additionally, a local KoolTM Smiles office provided dentists and hygienists to perform the screenings.

“We are so pleased to have worked with United Concordia on this project,” said Stephanie Lainez, marketing director for the Columbus Lions. “Children that attend the screening met players and dance team members, and attended the Columbus Lions football game that evening.”

United Concordia had a dasher board at all games this season and sponsored of the Youth Indoor Football League (YIFL), operated by the Lions. Additionally, all youth teams had a United Concordia jersey patch on their uniforms for the season.
